Another Sterling S/N please?

I liked my first Sterling soooo much, I just purchased another!
Serial number is F06584. I don't know it's birthday yet. Any help -Brian?

Teasing, I just don't understand why there is more threads about serial #s and build dates than any other posts. Does it really matter that it was built on Tues, Sept, or 2000 vrs 2001? Vrs. Monday, or April, or whatever?
I thought the beauty of EE/MM was their consistancy of quality.

You are certainly correct about the quality and consistancy. Just curious about the born-on-dates. Kind of nice to know.

Well, tell ya what a big fan I am, I jes sold my 60's strat re-issue.
My Sillhouette made it obsolete and unused. Once my 'stable' reaches 7-8, I need to pair down or I will feel opulant or excessive.
But I betcha I wind up with a Yamaha Ty Tabor model next, and I'll be up to 8 again.

8? I'm holding at four. All natural finishes with maple except for the new Sterling - it's natural with rosewood.
