So Ive removed myself from the bass buying/selling/trading game for a while. It hard, esp for me.:D

Ive been saving for an engagement ring for the girlfriend, and have decided that needs to get the most monitary attention right now.

However, there may be a dramatic change in circumstances that will allow me to get a ring AND a new bass. Not sure how it will unfold, but its a good possibility that a new bass wont be as far off as I was fearing. I got no issues with my SR5, since its super bad phenominal, but I could use a backup if funds permitted.

My question is, what should I get at new bass time?

HH SR 4/5?
H/SC SR 4/5
Single H Bongo 4/5?

You tell me.

The answer to the question in the 3rd poll option can be summed up in one simple, but painful word. STUPIDITY.

Well, I think you know what I think. I'll leave it at that.

Well, maybe not leave it that...

Since you already have a H only bass, i say you need a HH.

If H = awesome, and 2 x H = HH, then HH = 2 x awesome.

Wherease SC = 1.5H, so HSC = 1.5 x awesome.
