Like my thread title says... Any Chance for Ball Family Reserve or Limited Edition Graphite necked Basses? I know they've done it in the past... the 100th Namm Bass, the cutlass I and II (that was pre ernie though). I own a couple of rays (20th SR5HH and 30th SR) and wouldn't change them. BUT... I'm interested in owning a graphite necked SR 5 HH. I was thinking of just having a replacement neck but its always nice to ask if anything like this has come up at the Ball offices.

I've also thought about buying a beat up 5 string EB and taking all the necessary parts (pre, pickups, and hardware) and selling them to accommodate a 35 scale graphite necked bass (I'd need a slightly larger body)...

Graphite fan here, would love a new one, missed out on a 100th, thats why I had a Status neck put on my main Ray, love it, for me the best possible neck option, and man it stays in tune! To have one that says Ernie Ball (using a Status neck :) would be truly great.

"Graphite neck game changer in stingray format" my god man a weapon of mass destruction!

My Moses-Graphite-necked Sterling SH4 FL
is my "Cutlass 2" [maybe 2.1.1 ?] and I have
another Moses FL4 neck suitable for a Ray,
waiting to be assigned and installed [which
Ray to put it on ? Which necks to swap in a
3-way swap ?]

As to a new EBMM graphite-necked Special
Edition ? Prolly gonna be a bit much for my
budget, but I already know it's great idea !
