I know I'm in no position to be buying a new guitar right now, but ever since that first image of the Pinkburst Big Al with the Flamed or quilt maple top, Flamed maple neck... I have dreamt of it. The Big Al 4 is the perfect bass guitar, and not having a bfr version it seems like a missed opportunity. If this bass were made available for public consumption I would find a way to own the first one.
I may be looking at a refinish down the line.
