What I said was not a responce to that post, but to all the crap that has been brought up in the past. It seems that every time Benji is brought up here, it's all negative, and I for one am getting tired of it.

Just for the record, I'm not anti Benji.

Never heard him play guitar, or even any of his band's songs.

My "BP backshaving comment" was more like hazing the new (young) guy.

I thought the Benji comment was funny. I don't get mad when you guys sometimes lose your way and pontificate on how we should run the company. I try to inform you and hopefully educate as to why and where and how.

If someone wants to take a cheap shot, they better be able handle the return volley.

This should be a separate thread, and Jon thanks for the passion but don't get mad or tired...It is what makes this a pretty good forum.

Heres the deal with Benji. He loves our guitars. He gave us more exposure than just about any artist in Rock short of EVH and Keith Richards. He wanted a signature model. Every other company was offering him one, why didn't Music Man? I wanted an OLP Benji model to get more beginning guitarists our style of guitar. We compromised.
The Benji model has done what I told hiim it would do, and the OLP has been pretty good. Who did it hurt? Why such over the top judgements? It's BUSINESS.

BP, your company, you sign who you want. As long as they (all the guitars) are made top quality, which I am sure they will be, you will always have a loyal customer base. My 2 pennies.

we are trying to set up a webcast of all events including the Biff Baby's allstar's show, big poppa,dudley q&a, artist roundtable and such

be patient dont barrage us with a bunch of questions because it will just slow us down.

It is gonna be really fun

Yup, it came Tuesday and my wife has claimed ownership already. She loves it and got a little upset when I took it out to check it out. But we are over that. You guys did an awesome job on that and the colored pcikups are very cool looking in person. As I've told you before CLB is a great cause and my wife and I had not problems contributing to it, glad we could help out.

Wedding????
I've been married that many times I don't have acne scars I've got rice scars!
Just talking about this trip and getting a Y2D has put me on thin ice.
I even get in trouble for changing our kids bedtime stories (my daughter thinks Nemo played guitar)
I think the only thing that will save my marriage is if EB release his/her Y2Ds.
