I noticed my input jack plate and pickup selector switch is a little tarnished (or oxidized?) or something the other day and wondered what I could use on it that is safe. I've got some #0000 steel wool and some Eagle1 Nevr Dull as well. Anyone have any recommendations? The Eagle1 worked wonders on some tarnished saddles on a PRS I bought once. I checked with Dan in Customer Service first and he didn't have any particular recommendations for an EB so I thought i'd check with you fine people. :D

I think this is happening because the humidity in my new apartment is much higher than my guitar is used to being stored and I don't usually wipe down the pickup selector and input jack area when polishing... only a guess!

I use Goddard's long term silver polish, it's great on silver, chrome and safe to use.
