Any one know what pickup the silhouette has?

I was wondering if the Silhouette pickup has a counter part or what Dimarzio pickup is closest in sound and output?

What pickup? The humbucker? That's a standard Paf Pro. The single coil is a custom DM but the Blue Velvet comes very close.

Thanks just got my guitar today and was thinking it sounded like a PAF pro but it has different pole pieces than PAF Pros I have owned in the past. This pickup has the standard flat pole peices on one coil and flat head screws on the other. I always had hex pole peices on both coils of my PAF Pro's.

Since 2004 the Silhouette comes with Dimarzio Virtual PAF humbuckers, not PAF Pros, but since your Silhouette is a Silver Sparkle finish, its certainly got the PAF Pros (the finish was discontinued before the pickups were changed)... also, just in case you wanted to know, Silhouettes had Schaller pickups prior to 1990...

I am sorry I have a Silhouette Special so that may make a big difference in the pickups. I wonder if with different pickup configurations you get different pickups?
