We haven't gotten that far yet guys. The ones that have been built so far are just base coated.

The year we introduced the Bongo, Dudley, Whalen the setup supervisor, and I worked from 7 A.M until 8 the day before the NAMM Show. Its like tradition :D

Send me a Sterling for extended evaluation purposes. Base coated is fine, I'm not picky. Just rip out all them pesky frets.

Seeing as how Father Gino got the ball rolling. I'd like to unabashedly (but humbly) request for a dual pup SR5? Oh wait....I'm in Singapore. *gunshot*

We LOVE EBMM

See, there ya go. You've got free evaluation services for SR4, 5 & Sterling. If only some brave soul would step up to offer the same services for new Bongo models, you'd be all set. C'mon you Bongoloids, step up to the plate!

We EBMM fans are nothing if not generous.

Yeah, but where in the WORLD are we going to find someone who wants to try out a left handed Bongo? If someone's been clammering for one, I certainly haven't noticed.

If you think these are coming down to the wire, you should have been a fly on the wall for the SUB........That was fun and really quick.

Namm always goes to the wire. We always seem to be like a hog in a smorgsabord piling up ideas that we think that we can digest in time. This one is gonna be pretty big as most new stuff debuts at the winter NAMM. (OK you historians with the exception of the Sterling, and the Luke)

Im in SLO today woring with Dudley and Dargie on the Pickups and positioning I can tell you that the bridge ppu's will be in the same spot as their single pu brothers. I think taht we are very close.

Dudley blew my mind yesterday with a new version of the single coil Bongo pick up. Deep but so much wire or piano sound fat but clear if you know what im trying to describe....

Dargin had a 2h buttercreamBongo with Rosewood neck made that I may steal.

Played an early Sterling that hangs on the sale wall. What a great bass!

In answer to you question, we will post pics asap

I believe it was a new single coil Bongo pickup. I'd be up for a little prototypin' in Moby the White Whale.

I have always prefered the HH Bongo personally, but Dudely may have changed my opinion with that FAT single coil he came up with.
