In the past year I've become the owner of 2 MM Valentines. I love them and want to take them everywhere. The hardshell cases are nice but cumbersome and my car is on the tiny side. I'm thinking I'd be interested in getting a Music Man MONO case specifically for the Valentine, rather than a generic MONO case that might fit a Valentine. Also I'm kinda curious if the MM MONO cases have the little red model specific tag on the outside of the case, like the hardshell cases do? That little detail on the cases is so cool IMO and I hope they continue that with the MONO cases. Last I heard they were only including the cases with new sales, but were considering offering them to those who already own MM instruments. Just putting this out there, and hoping that Music Man will speed up the process on offering these cases.
I would love to pick up one of these bass guitar cases. If anyone wants to sell one let me know.

Sorry, but this is the WORST IDEA EVER. The mono cases are big, fat, glorified gig bags … my 2 cents … i have two of them taking up space in a storage facility because I just plain do not like them! Music Man guitars deserve better!

Yes, many of us feel that way, not sure glorified gig bag is a good description but big, and fat and bulky and takes up too much space is accurate. I so prefer the SKB cases.

I am selling a few guitars and seriously considering putting them in the Mono cases

Love the new Mono cases. If you gig and rehearse regularly, these things are fantastic. I have a Cutlass BFR and the case was damaged so I picked up one of the EBMM mono cases for it as I have 3 others with those cases and love them! When you put them down, they sit perfectly and don't tip over with the slighted imperfection in the ground. You can stand them upright and they stay that way and don't need to lean them on anything.

I’m a fan. It is true - they are big. But they are perfectly form fitted and LIGHT! My only preference would have been for a shoulder strap. But I still love them. I also have a mono dual case I am considering using for taking 2 EBMMs to gigs - but haven’t done so yet. The form fitted cases offer such perfect protection. Maybe next gig…

For sure! The shoulder strap would have been a great addition. Probably a cost measure though.

Recent owner of two EBMM guitars shipped with the new MONO bags. I have been a MONO Vertigo user since released. I was excited to get the EBMM Mono bag until they arrived. Love the fit and weight, but just to bulky for me. I have a rack with all my cases and the EBMM Mono case messed up the system trying to find a spot. MONO Vertigo bag all the way, perfect travel on the weekends just like a back pack. I have dropped the bag with my DGT inside, slid down stairs...just a good case.

No, not really. Dealers from one country or region can't sell new products into another region (and that applies to most brands across the entire industry). (There are many reasons why, most of them good and logical).

From what I can tell Thomann has no stock and I don't think have ever sold any. I can't find any other European retailer listing them. Europe is expecting new stock of EBMM and SBMM gear around mid-May and more towards the end of the summer so we'll know more in a few weeks.
Some available at Thomann..
