My Cafe Walter just came in the mail here at work. I haven't been home to play the Bongo or Stingray through it yet. Anybody ever tried one of these contraptions?

I've owned my Cafe Walter for about 2 years now, and use it for quiet practice at home, or when the missus is watching TV, or for hotel room practice when I'm on business trips. Having an input for a CD player or MP3 player is a great feature, since the Cafe Walter and an MP3 player make a fantastic portable practice rig. The preamp is very transparent and gives you real insight into your technique.
