I have an older Roland V-Bass and am thinking about getting a VB-99. I don't care about the amp or Bass modeling (Why would I, I have an Orange AD200B and a 25th HSS and Big Al SSS) but I do enjoy the synth sounds and effects. I don't currently have the pickup on either bass (that bass all remain nameless). I was just wondering who else uses the Roland stuff, and which type of pickup they use. If you use a GraphTech bridge, how do you like it?

Okay, I have been looking into the Graphtech a bit more, I just want the piezo saddles, as well as the Hexpander. I am wondering if I should add the regular piezo sounds as an option too.
I have sold the 25th and am only playing the Big Al, so all of this would go into the Big Al.

SO...anybody ever done this here?

Well, I decided forget it anyways. I am leaving my Big Al SSS alone, at least like that. I do have a clear pickguard on the way for some custom art underneath it.
Thanks though.

Yeah, you'd have to do some serious routing to the Big Al to even honk about installing something that isn't more a stick on type thing. That Big Al control cavity is filled.
