Here we go.

There was an arcade game in Japan before that took off, but at least now we can upgrade our air guitars for our own homes!

How did you guys have this since last November without telling me?!

I had one but returned it because it didn't have enough birds eye in the neck.

We rented the game and the "SG" controller last weekend with some friends and had a GuitarHero night.

Honestly, i was not very positive about the thing before i tried it. Once i played one song, i thought it was really fun. There is a beginner mode so anyone can play even with no musical background.

We had a really good time, cheering to each other. I can really see kids pretending they are guitar gods playing this. It was fun for one night, but that was enough for me.

Back to playing "real" guitar for me !

It also helped make micro-floppy drives standard on the Wintel side of the park and introduced connectors for mouse (previously DB-9) and keyboard (that huge 5-pin DIN).

Dang, I feel old...
