I just fitted the new KTS Titanium saddles to my Silhouette Special and i gotta say they are Fantastic.
Huge improvement in sustain, harmonics and note separation... basically what they say on their site.
They are very expensive but I got mine at trade as a one off deal, otherwise i'd put these on all my guitars !

I have them on my Morse, after hearing Tommy rave about them. They're excellent.

(PITA to get ones that fit the old 90s Morse bridges, btw.)

Sounds interesting. But $175 IS pretty steep. I just dont like the logo all over them...would be better on the side I think. I would definitely try these out if I can get my hands on them.

Haven't tried them and Mom always said don't knock it till you try it, but color me skeptical.

Beej, which ones fit the Morse Tune-O-Matic?
I bought the #PR-05 (KTS). About $65 for the set.

The TOM is a bit of a pain to fit saddles to. The old Morse bridges are a little different than the new ones. The old ones (Gotoh) are a little smaller and the intonation screws are held in by circlips (those little c clips), easy to pop out. New ones (either Gotoh or Tonepros on the Y2D) are held in by nuts and thread locking compound. You can get those off with solvent, it's a bit of a pain.

The saddles won't drop right in- I needed to tap them for a different screw thread. In case anyone's interested, those old Morse bridge intonation screws are 4-48 (non metric). One they're in, you also need to file the string grooves. (Tommy graciously did that for me.)

So there ya go. FWIW, they sound fantastic. Very even sounding, lots of definition in the notes. But more work to get them in than I'd planned on.

That's what I was looking for when I tried to find a set of decent block saddles instead of the original vintage saddles in my Silo and Silo 20. Looks great, should deffinitely sound well at that price, too. I used graphtechs and was always a bit distured by the way the guitar sounded and responded when unplugged...

Now the issue is gone anyway - with the guitars...

I felt the same way about the Graph Tech saddles, I went from those piezo saddles to the Titanium, what a difference. (Though just going back to stock would have made a big difference.) In all honesty, my originals were pretty chewed up anyway.

I hear the newer Graph Tech saddle material is much better ... but I haven't tried it yet.
