I bought my first Bongo, an HH fiver, from them and also had a painless transaction. Good guys, in my opinion and from my experience.

Yes, I did. Painless transaction.

What's your question? Do you want to know if they're honest? Yes, they are. Do they offer good deals? Yes, same as any EBMM dealer.

Well....I wouldn't expect any deal on a Dargie if they happen to have one in stock. They like to sell limited editions close to list after they are discontinued. Which, of course, is their prerogative. Assuming they still have the Dargies on the website, I wouldn't expect one at any kind of discount.

I have purchased many basses from BassCentral. For the most part the deals have gone well. On one occasion I had a problem - it got ugly for a while - but calmer heads prevailed and we got things worked out.

Just purchased a Dargie Bongo from BC - and no I did not get a great deal - certainly using the supply and demand argument for current pricing. As a businessman - that does make sense to me. Sure I would have gotten the "street price" deal had I ordered it in the window. I am buying from stock so supply and demand dictates price.

Overall - good place to do business.

Ah yes!

I received my DD Bongo from them just yesterday.

Beaver was a great guy! Only one hiccup, they sent it to my home address.

After telling them on SEVERAL occasions to send it to my office.

Aside from that, got a great deal.

I've known Beaver for 20yrs. I made my first purchase from them for a DD Bongo HH 5 last month. I have to say that they are some of the best in the biz when it comes to service, although I didn't get a great discount on the Dargie, I'm still happy. As an independent store compared to GC, they have the right to charge a premium for any limited run on product.
So with that being said, My DD bongo should be here by the end of the month.

I had a great transaction with them! Emails were there the next day and beaver was friendly and cooperative. Plus, I got a free set of strings with the deal.

I would definately buy from them again

Without knowing the specifics of their dealer contract, I bet they are able to sell to APO addresses.

Exactly. As I am an American citizen and such, that's the deal. I can't resell the bass as new, but that's the only thing.

Blue Dawn Fretless Bongo HH with Piezos.......mmmmmmm :D Hopefully.

I hate to be the one to tell you this, and heck, I may be wrong again. Unless its changed dual pups dont come with piezos yet, cept for Bongos.
