I think his point was regarding search engine indexing of the thread. If John's name is spelt out Google will link to the thread, driving more traffic to the site... Ultimately making more knuckleheads and Bongoloids.

No offense, but I think BP probably already understands that, and that understanding was probably built-in to the "thanks for the tip" remark.
