I especially like to stop at the Blue's City Diner and have some of those world famous ribs cooked by Chef Lonnie Mack. Memphis Bar-B-Q rocks and so does Beall Street. It's been a while since I've been though. The friend I used to meet there passed away a couple of years ago and I just haven't been back. Maybe next year for Memphis in May.

Hah. I love Memphis for one reason. The tourist! To us Graceland and Beale Street hardly exist, but to them, they're what make Memphis stand out. Its them that remind us how awesome our towm actually is.

Hey, I was in Memphis last summer when the hurricane blew through! We had got to Sun Studio the day before and were going to be going to Graceland the day the hotel almost fell over!! Great city though, the gig wasn't that bad either but did end up getting shut down early.... anywho, about NAMM, I won't be going 'cause I'll be playing(and recording every set) up in NewHampshire BUT Bassplyr, I see you're a dealer.... can you hook a brother up with some "slightly-less-than-retail" EB strings??

Heh. July 22nd. That was the date I moved into my new house. Power was out everywhere. I had to pick up my mom, works in a mental hospital. Power was out there and the generator didn't come on. Heh. Good times.

NAMM show is closed to the public. You can only go as a dealer/employee or company rep. Schmooze your MM dealer if you've bought a bass/guitar from him and get him to take you.
