I am looking for a pre ernie ball musicman stingray bass case for my axe. If you have one and would like to sell it, or if you know where I might be able to find one... PLEASE let me know...Thank you!!!

I have a 1979 Stingray, When I bought it, it didn't come with a case. The condition is amazing (brown finish with black guard) and I would really like to have the right case to have with it. This is my main bass and I would like to store/transport it properly!!

There are several aftermarket options out there. You might find it hard to get ahold of a name brand MM case.

Gator makes a nice case also that looks just like the TKL. You can usually find them on the bay.

TKL cases are good too, I got one with my Stingray (normally, you don't get a hard case with the 2EQ models, but I got this one for free)

yep... I appreciate the tips! I'm hoping (although it does seem unlikely at this point) to locate a 70's era Musicman bass case. Why don't these things ever come up for sale? I see old Fender cases all the time?!?!?

Pride runs high in MM owners. They usually keep the case and everything else that comes along with it.

im not a big fan of tkl.

the original eb case i had fell apart after three years of constant gigging/touring.

i got a diesel flight case last summer, which i only use on tour. you can find them on e-bay, they are made in canada.

for everyday use, i got a skb stingray 4-5 model. it sucks. the case is made for the 5, but fits the 4. the 4 swims in it. i cut some foam to size so it doesnt rumble around.


if you love it, go buy a flight case.
