The MM90 are great. The closest thing to compare them to is a hot tele. The bridge has good top end clarity but thicker than a strat single coil. The neck is warm and clear great for bluesy soloing ,mellow comping, or jazzy type lines with tone knob backed off a bit. I think the key to getting the most out of mm90 gtrs is using the tone knob.
Good luck I've been looking for a sss axis sport for a while but none have popped up here or ebay in awhile

I had an HSS and it was very nice. I just prefer the Silo Special neck, feel and sound.

Hey SUB1ZERO fella :)

Boy Oldigs is quite right about that the Axis Sport MM90 is the modern Tele (lotsa twang-thang), although for me it goes from the twangy side alwost the way to sort of a little Pawla with P90s when you take the tone pot back a little.

I absolutely love mine, and hey - in case you should really dislike the MM90s (which I strongly doubt), you can easily change to DiMarzio's hummies in P90 housings if needed... :D

GREAT axe, the Axis Sport !!!

Axis Sports are the best, sweet EBMM's they are. Sorry mines not for sale, I love it too much.

Though a SSH non-pg would be sweet, there's a dude in europe that has one.

Good luck in your search, check Craigslist or EvilBay they are always on there.

Thanks guys! After the silo, a sport is next in line. I just have to have one and I can't explain why. I'm loving the hardtail model with pickguard. Remember that one that had Albert Lee's signature on it? PERFECT

Candid, yah but the one I'm talking about never had a PG on it, some of the ones that went to Europe ended up like this, they look so awesome.

Yup. I posted my old one just for general purpose. I personally like the PG on them, look rather too plain without them, unless they have a trans finish. Mine was originally red and the owner before me had it finished in black. I liked it but wasn't crazy about it, like I am with mah blue finished rosewood board Silo. There's a little behind the scenes mojo in that thing, which I'm grateful to EB for.

I have one... It's for sale for 1.000.000 dollars... (that's shipping included, hell, I'll even deliver it personally!)

Seriously: good luck on your search, they show up every once in a while, keep your eyes open!
