Help! Anyone have experience with the Mark Bass Basic P501 Head?

I am playing my sweet Classic Ray for a gig at NXNE in Toronto this week. Sits in the mix perfectly for this particular band. I have to play through their house rig as they have all bands do so at these festivals. Turns out, I am a little inexperienced with the amp that's provided. They are giving us a Markbass Basic P501 head to use.

I currently have the LMT 800 so I thought it would be a pretty straight forward transition as the EQs and the filters etc tend to be similar. Turns out, it really isn't that simlar at all.

So, if anyone has experience with this head, and its compression and what not, I'd love to hear from you for some sweet sounds you may have found.

If not, I'll get it dialled in, but would be sweet to hear from someone who's had some alone time with the ol' gal.

While I do not have any experience with said amp, I do know that it was the precursor to the now discontinued TA-501. If you're on the TalkBass forums you can PM Peter Murray and he can most likely get you a manual for it.

Thanks for the heads up Melvin...I don't do the TB thing. Maybe it's time I head over there and see what Mr. Murray can help me with...I did take a closer look at the knobs and whatnot, doesn't seem as daunting as before. Eitherway, mucho gracias for the assistance.
