I'm a virgin accountant

IN the northeast?

Okay, so here I am, my first time on the E.B. forum...and look what I found!! Big Poppa is looking for an accountant in the Northeast. I believe I qualify for the following 5 reasons:

(1) I am a CPA with 25 years of music retailing and product experience

(2) I am a partner in a prestigious CPA firm that has only been sued twice - and we have successfully defended both of those sexual harrassment suits..:>)

(3) I own seven Ernie Ball/Music Man guitars (4 Lukes, 2 Axis and 1 Baritone guitar), and am about to purchase a Ball Family Reserve "Luke" as soon as it's available and my wife is out of town on the day of receipt of shipment.

(4) Our CPA firm is cool (Friedman, Kannenberg&Company, P.C. - Homepage) and I play in a cool band of all-CPAs, "The Accounting Crows" (The Accounting Crows)

(5) I'm Jewish.

So, now that there's no question that I'm qualified for this accounting gig, how much does it pay? Please advise...

Respectfully,
Alan M. Friedman

Al how was that Set-up? Kids this is a friend that I met on the old AOL Jay Graydon music chart area...It was HYSTERICAL! LUke and Jay and I and a few others most notably ALhomeboy had some legendary threads.

ONe day I posted a long post wanting a cpa that you had to keep scrolling down to et ot the next line...it was fish bait for alhome boy pay was 500k californiw r&D guitars the last line was..."Must me Catholic"

Al has gone on to be a NAMM celebrity and has never given me the credit for all of the good things that he does probably because I have nothing to do with any of them. He was the official accounting firm for Battle of the bands 3..he was fired from that volunteer gig after demanding a town car for at his beck and call during the next NAMM show and fur lined thongs with Lukes sig.

I actually saved AL's bacon two years ago at the NAMM State of the industry that he MC'ed

Help..:>)) I got pics, but I'm an idiot..:>)

Hey GW...thanks for the welcome!! Good to be here..:>)

I got pictures of all my guitars (I have around 50...it's a long story) but am fearful that my wife will wrap the next one I bring home around my neck if I admit to any more...like the new Luke I'm going to get..:>) You can see them all on my "Gear" page of my personal website (www.alhomeboy.com), but I'd love to get my EB/MM collection up on my posts like you have done.

So, how the heck do you do it??? Any help would be really appreciated.

Oh by the way, make no mistake, I "love" my EB/MM collection way better than any of the Strats or Les Pauls I own...I mean I like them all...but my Lukes rock.

Thanks again for the welcome...happy New Year!!

Big Poppa (and I do mean "big")...set up was a breeze..!! Does this compliment entitle me to any free T-shirts? Don;t worry, you can 1099 me..:>)

Hey everyone, all of Big Poppa's rumors and tales are true. God, I hate to admit this...like his ego isn't big enough...but Sterling is, by far, the most knowledgeable person I know in this industry about how to run a successful company, bring quality to your products, and value to your brand. He's not quiet about his opinions, but his usually right on the money and well respected for his insights and advice by ALL music retailers and product suppliers alike.

If only he was thinner, younger and a Jew...he would be perfect then - like me...:>)

Big Poppa, you're the biggest, badest and the best..:>))

Hey Brentrock...

Thanks for your welcome as well. With regard to whether you can deduct your guitar expenditures on your individual tax return, remember this..."Everything is deductible...as long as you don't get audited..:>)"

By the way, are there any IRS agents on this forum??...:>))

Thanks again, Brentrock, for the welcome...it already rocks to be here!!
