chaps. looking for a little knowledge here.

can anyone tell me the maker of the loop selection unit in the middle of the bottom row in the attached pic? it looks along the lines of the gigrig unit but way more compact.

just can't make out the manufacturer.

I would hate to not fill somebody in on some information, so here you go:

The Official Musicom Lab Web Site

I assume the one in the picture was MKI where the new one on the site is the MKII. Reviews seem pretty damned solid.

I used to have the MKI model, a great unit, easy as hell to program, very nice buffer and it was small. I'm not sure if they still make the MKII model shown on their site, I believe they were working on a new model called the Loopaholic.

sure. it is basically a foot controller combined with a load of effects loops. you plug in stomp box to each loop then use the programming function to create various combinations of effects then assign them to a preset number.

Thanks for the explanation. Is the order of sends/returns hard wired, or can you, for example, have delay before verb in one setting and the verb before delay in another? Or is it just patching in in order, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8? Thanks!
