Anyone ordered from dazbootman lately?

I did a Buy-It-Now on a MOTO SR5 pickguard on 12-30, and paid immediately with PayPal.

I didn't receive any confirmation from him after I bid or paid beyond the eBay- and PayPal-sent automatic stuff, and I haven't received any response to two emails. I know Bryan can be kind of slow responding, but this is getting silly.

Has anyone else had issues with him? I've bought from him before with no problems, but I'm starting to get concerned.

I seem to recall the last purchase I made went almost the same way - no communication, and the PG just showed up in the mail one day. This one's just taking longer!

What's the item number and link? I've never seen a dazbootman auction where he accepted PayPal so maybe he hasn't received your payment. If you are still in doubt and he's not returning your e-mails you can request his phone # from ebay so you can call him directly. FWIW I paid with money orders for mine and received them within about a week.

I've ordered a few from him (via email not off of ebay) and never had any issues - as a matter of fact he worked with me to custom cut my Bongo H pickguards because they were the first he had done. Once he received payment it was usually 7-10 days and they were at my door.

PayPal is listed as a payment option; my last order was PayPal, too.

He's got a good rep, so I'm not going to get to worked up yet. Maybe he went on vacation to Mexico over New Years or something, or is affected by all the rain.

Just got 2 clear pickguards from him

An SR4 and a Bongo 4HH clear plexi. Very nice work. I dealt with him directly (out of ebay). Sent him the money order and description of what I wanted on december
29, 2004 and got them both this past Thursday, Jan 13, 2005.

First time dealing with him. He has been very helpful and fair.
