No ashdown here, but I believe I saw that silver sparkle Stingray and it's quite the looker.

We'll need photos, of course.

And welcome!

I endorse another brand of amp, so I havent had a lot of use with the Ahsdown. However a friend of mine has and Ashdown ABM 500, and runs it with an Ashdown 4x10. I played a StingRay and a StingRay 5 through it, and it really had a good sound. Good clean, agressive tone from the Ray, and my SR5 strung with flats had great booty.

I think youll be pleased with it.

I have one...an ABM500 and an Epifani 310. I pretty much set everything at 12 o'clock, and use the "Push Flat" button...otherwise, there is too much mid scoop, and the bass loses its distinctive growl.

You don't have to overdrive the amp too much, because the SR tone has enough aggressiveness on its own.

i post a pic as soon as i get the pearl black pickguard i ordered today. ive been playing it all day. its cool because it is about the same volume as my sadowsky uv70 so when i switch them at gigs i wont have to mess with the amp much. its nice to have basses with different sounds but the same output into the amp.
