Anyone receive their Custom Design Experience bass?

I just designed and ordered my bass a few days ago and now the fact that I'm gonna have to wait a few months is setting in, lol. Would love to see some photos of these basses that people have gotten. Not a ton of examples on the site, but the couple that are on there look great! Really happy I went with the flamed neck.

Also, if you've gotten one, how long was the wait? I was told 4-6 months, but I'm really hoping it's closer to 4!

I just received my custom design experience Stingray Special bass. Mine arrived just over a month after I placed the order. It has a roasted maple neck with standard profile and a natural finish. I also own a honeyburst Stingray special bass. Here’s a picture of the basses. The custom design experience bass is on the right side.

I was pleasantly surprised that my order didn’t take that long. I wonder if it’s because the options I chose were more common?

Both of the Stingrays play and sound fantastic! I really like the look of the flame maple neck on the custom order. Here are some pictures of the flame maple neck:

You really need to see the flame maple necks and fingerboard in person. The pictures don’t do it justice.

Wow, it’s beautiful!!!

Really great news hearing that you got it so soon. I’m about 3 weeks in and the wait is killing me. I got pretty simple options as well, so hopefully I’ll also be getting it quickly. I went with a Stingray 5 with black body, flamed maple neck and ebony fretboard. Love the look of these flamed necks!
