Gonna take a plunge to the Jazzier side of life. wanted to know if anyone has used Ernie Balls flatwounds. Do you like them? Do you prefer another brand? need some experienced wisdom here......... 
Anyone use EB Flatwounds for Bass?

I have a Stingray Fretless that I have strung with EB Flatwounds. I like 'em. That different, well, flatter tone takes a lot of getting used to, though. I really want to find a good set of half rounds to try. I suspect that I might like those better.
Maybe you should try half rounds first? Although, I'm not sure if Ernie Ball makes them...
