knows how to cover the open controls of a PGless Stingray 5? I think it looks cool (if it had a maple fingerboard too) anyone got a pic of a PGless stingray 5 with a controlplate maybe ? A stingray 4 controlplate doesnt fit cuz of the 3 way switch no ?

I agree that a SR5 would look nice with no pick guard. Especially the sunburst which is mostly covered up by the guard. The only solution I could think of short of making a control plate would be to get a clear PG in the standard shape and make a faux control plate out of some kind of decal material like chrome mylar. Apply that decal under the clear PG. Not really elegant, but a cheap fix.

I changed the pick guard on my SR5 and thought it looked nicer with nothing.

Find some woodgrain vinyl that matches the ash body and tape it to the underside of the clear pickguard, it'll cover up the hole.

See, with the clear pickguard, you just cut out a cartoon lobster, and....

Oh hell, a picture is easier:

See? Lobsters are your answer, I'm sure of it.

i´d like to see them in teal burst whitout pickguard and i relly like the dawn blue musicman may re-make in that color

Did you consider duct tape? :D

How did Lobsters get into this? Are you drinking enough Martinis Jack? Or not enough?
