Musicman Petrucci Signature with Piezo ( Music man ) on eBay, also Musicman, Electric, Guitars, Musical Instruments (end time 24-Feb-08 21:05:37 GMT)

This really pissed me off when I read it. He is basically saying that there are American EBMMS and European EBMM's. I think he's mis-selling this item. And also undermining EBMM's ethic at the same time.

Nah... he's wrong. EBMM send the best ones to the US dealers, the 2nd best ones to Europe, and the crap to Asia (except Japan)...:p:D

Just kidding...:D They're ALL great.

We'll see about that when I get my next Ball :)
I bought the first one in LA and I ordered my second Ball here 5 and a half months ago, so it should be here in a few weeks. Anyway, I just wanted to use this thread to say once again that I can't wait for my new Ball to arrive :D

I think its a bit tongue-in-cheek to be honest. I saw this ad afew days ago and was more annoyed that his first words are "mint condition". When you read on a bit, you discover that it has pick marks and fret-wear.....

Indeed. People will say anything when they flog their used gear. That's when you see their true colours.

Damn Americans! I know Big Poppa tells his company to do that. It even says in the little warranty card: This guitar may not be shipped to Europe. Americans ONLY!

And when you open the card, it sings god bless america!

Sheesh, what a loser.

I'm glad I don't work in exports right now.... kidding. Really, for the record, they are all made to the same standards, same factory, same employees, same parts, etc, etc.

Hilarious!

And inside of the card are a few Kraft American cheese slices - the individually wrapped ones.

There is only one way to put this to rest and that is for BP and the guys/gals to send me an example of each model, one set destined for US customers and another for European customers and i will carry out a thorough investigation in order to refute this allegation.

Of course, i cant afford to send the guitars back but i will look after them well :p

+1. I took it to be a bit of a joke. What I can't comprehend is why he'd sell an EBMM to buy a couple of Strats for his "baby boys". Not saying there's anything wrong with that notion...but  ...I just can't comprehend it.

Actually...this is no longer true. Colin is secretly working on an agreement to have the very best EBMMs sent to AUSTRALIA!! ;)
