Hello everyone :)

Desperately trying to identify unknown flatwound strings I've received with the bass. Somebody told me they could be Ernie Balls so I've decided to ask you EB people ;)

Here you have some specs:

brass ball ends, no silk
other ends - no silks either
medium-to-high tension
pretty big gauge (I think more than 45-105)

Another clue: these strings are obviously too short for string-through mounting, you can see A string starts to taper before the nut on this bass (Squier VM Telebass).

Nope, those aren't EB flats. Ernie Ball flats have blue silk at both the headstock and ball ends. The blue at the ball end is darker.
