i'm really diggin the MM90's recently, on both my ASS and AL. The ASS tone is great, very strong and bitey, think Robben Ford, kind of.

I'd really consider either EGYPTIAN SMOKE or DESERT GOLD for your AL with either black or white ice pickguard. Saw some EBMMs these colors l8ly and...

I'm happy to say I've narrowed my choices down to three! My first two are the colors I first fell in love with on an AL, white or trans blue! My third is Pacific Blueburst. It'll be a hardtail with a matching headstock, white pearl guard and MM90's. I got hit with some pictures from members of the "ALO "Cartel" and they really gave me some colors to think about, Honeyburst and Blackcherryburst to be exact ! But I figure my first AL won't be my last, so I've got colors to choose from for quite some time! BTW, Egyptian Smoke is a killer....

I'm really liking the sound of the vintage sunburst Sport mm90s I got from forum member ghunter last month.I've been bringing this guitar and a Cube 30 in to my nightshift and spending way too much time noodling.I had no experience of these p/ups before but I'm loving love the way they can do clean and driven tones very well.they can be real brash or beautifully warm sounding.the neck pickup with the tone rolled off a tad is just amazing!I'm really happy I got these pickups in one of my MMs.
