Last december I received my Armada at the same time my Steve Morse PDN Neptune Blue arrived (talk about timing..). Took some time to warm up to it, but for the last few weeks it has become the guitar I reach for the most. Despite the finished neck, despite the singlecut design (which I am normally not drawn to), despite the different scale length and body size. It just sounds so nice and just oozes class! A real recommendation for all EBMM enthousiasts.

Anyone else experience this with the Armada or any other Music Man? As much as I love the unfinished necks my two favourite MM at the moment are my black sugar AL HH and this Armada, both with finished necks...

I also love the ebmm finished necks. I know everyone loves the unfinished necks, myself included, but the unfinished necks are pretty awesome, too!

Oh yeah, Im exactly in the same boat here Job! While I love my MM guitars, the Armada has easily risen to the top of the list. Everything about the Armada is perfect IMHO. It's a SOLID rocking guitar and the pickups…oh man…loads of tone.

I definitely have the MM90 version on my list for next year.

Yes, the pickups are indeed very nice! One more thing I love is the way the volume control works, no muddiness when you back of the volume. I use it more on this guitar than on my other guitars.
