Does anyone know if the Armada has a treble bleed circuit?

I own one and it really seems to keep the top end as you turn down the volume. None of my other guitars seem to have this characteristic. Is it just a feature of the pickups and volume knob or is there some other black magic going on in there?

Open up the control cavity and take a look. If a treble bleed circuit is present, there will be a resistor and capacitor wired (typically) in parallel across lug 1 and 2 of the volume pot. Super easy to spot - unless there is a PCB on this model (I have never opened up an Armada).

Or post a pic of the insides and the group can take a look.

Thanks Pete! I wouldn't have recognized one if I saw it.

It's pretty darn effective. Even though you only have 3 pickup positions you can get a whole lot of different tone out of that guitar just using the vol/tone knobs. I'm thinking it would be pretty effective in some of my other guitars where the volume knob really rolls back the tone too.
