Before (and after) RJ, there was RV - Ross Valory

Ross Valory is an underappreciated bassist. Listen to some of the things he does on Todd Rundgren's "Second Wind" album. I have to admit that until then, I never really knew he had that kind of taste. Really nice work.

Don't know the name of his current bass player, but I caught the "GC Sessions - Peter Frampton" over the weekend on DirecTV, and when he did "Show me the way", the bass player was playin a very sweet fretless/blank plank Stingray. Tone was right-on.
