As promised SR pics

A bit back I had a thread about buying this bass.
Well it's been home for a bit now.
I set it up and ran it through it's paces.
My opinion, it goes way beyond 11.
I love that second position chunk (switch position) all eq's centered and the volume full up.
100-45's make the fast runs and bends effortless.
It makes the wait for my B6 even more painfull.
I still need to figure out exactly what I want for a Sterling 5 LE (options wise).
Enough of my ramblings, on to the pics.

Damn dude, let me be the first to say that's a FINE bass! I loved the 07 LE finish since the first time i saw it, look after her!

Just kidding. Enjoy it. It is an amazing bass.

I would have bought a HH but I slap a lot and bought the exact same ib a single H. BY FAR, this bass has gotten the most attention and complements on gigs. The colour looks great under lights!

Baird, I slap alot too, and the SR 4 HH has plenty of room. When I played one at GC the first time, I just went about it by starting to play without making any technique adjustments whatsoever, to see if my hand contacted the neck pickup. I never felt the pup with my hand at all - I seem to stay right up at the end of the neck. So for me, there was no hindrance, just the benefit of 5 different toggle positions/pup configs.

Good for you! My solution was to just buy single H EBMM basses (I will as of Friday have 3).

I am used to Jazz bass spacing which is what I have been using for 20 years. AND I still play my Fenders and Sadowskys a lot. I just feel more comfortable with lots of room by the neck. I actually got rid of my amazing Bongo 5 for this reason. In fact, my next bass will be a SR5 ONLY with a single H.

Might have thought about a SR5, but I don't like the PG on them. So a Sterling 5 will have to do LOL.
