Hey fellas:
I just found this is a really good place to get helped. I just bought a brand new Axis and that's the motivation for me to register because now we all have something in common!!!
I sold my 1990 Charvel for the money to get this new Axis. But what Axis gives me is just to make me feel dissappointed.
First, the pickup switch doesn't work at all so I dont have the sound!!!!!!(not pickup problem just switch's)
Second, there are two cracks on the both sides where the body and neck connect.
last, the tremolo is'High stability tremolo system' instead of Floyd Rose.
I'm from Canada and i purchased it from US. Do you guys know if it is really easy and cheap to repair that broken pickup switch? If it is and wont affect the guitar at all I ll just get it fixed by the local music store because I dont want to send it back to US which will be lots of trouble!
