Help! ASS Rosewood fingerboard conditioning

I recall reading somewhere around here that, since the ASS rosewood's fingerboard and neck are unfinished, that they require special attention to maintain this. Is this correct? Any guidance would be much appreciated.

My ASS is about a year old and I was planning on rubbing some lemon oil on the fingerboard to condition it. Also, is there anything that I should do to the back of the neck to condition it? (I recall reading something about wax...)

Get some Guitar Honey, it's awsome stuff. I use it on the entire neck of my Rosewood ASS.
