for those who were in Dallas any comments about that model ?

How is the sound compare to a regular ASS ? more sustain ? more ball ? I have seen the photos of Tony playing it was he playing clean ? crunch ?

sorry if someone already posted that

I only had chance to play it unplugged at the BBQ venue.

What I can say is that all the "tone block" guitars just resonate and ring out more. More chime, more sustain.

Hard to describe, great to feel.

+1 what Dave said ... you can just hear the sustain ... ("well you would, if it were playing ..."). They seem more resonant.

From what the insiders say (including Luke), there's more low mid range to the tone block equipped guitars. Just a little more oomph in those frequencies.

Thanks for the question. I was wondering the same thing myself.

BTW - Nice natural Axis SS MM90 with piezo. Beautiful pic.

I plugged one in for a few moments, my first impression was it had a bit more punch in the mids.

Sustain I can't really comment on, I didn't play it that long or that loud and the sustain on the regular Axis was fine to me as it was. So my impression of that aspect is it's similar.

All in all, it seemed a bit punchier in the middle with maybe a bit better harmonics.
