will a cutlass I neck fit a current EB body.

fully understanding the lack of truss rod, and different screws, will this neck fit a 2005 stingray?

I can't give a full answer (no Cutlass here), but I have some pre-EB necks and the heels are more narrow than the '87 body I'm working to build out. (It's possible the neck pocket of the '87 body was made wider by a previous owner, but it doesn't appear to be.)

If you find someone with a Cutlass, get a very close measurement of the heel width.

As far as I've been able to tell, there aren't any issues I've discovered fitting a pre EB neck to a 93 body. I'll be more help when my Cutlass 1 arrives this weekend though.

However, you'll have to either drill the neck for a 6 bolt fixing ( ) or modify the body somehow to line up the screw holes with those already in the neck. Be a real shame to drill the cutlass neck though.

Why not look out for a 4 bolt 'Ray and retro fit the cutlass neck? You can still pick them up for around $1200.

As promised, I tried the cutlass neck in the 93 body and I can confirm there was no discernable difference in neck butt size. The fit was nice and tight.
