I use the ones from the 'Dollar Store'. Soft rubber, clear vinyl, or black felt. Adhesive on one side. The clear vinyl are thin, good for fairly flat surfaces. The felt or soft rubber ones will wrap & fill between a strap button and a curved surface. They are in the housewares stuff, as scratch protector feet, to protect your furniture from your chatzkes.
