What year is your Honeyburst Ray? I love it!!! Gotta be somewhere around '93-'94...right? I love that bass. Please make sure I'm aware if something happens and you decide to sell. I would sell my Bongo in a heartbeart for that bass.

Hey flywheel, that's the 1st MM I bought
back in 1995 (mfg date 1/95 shipped to
Sam Ash NYC).

I'll never say "never" but I can't see me
parting with it - it's a keeper (you'll be the
1st to know if the unthinkable happens).

My SR5 unfortunately, needs to go to
make room for a HH SR5 or Sterling 5.

Flywheel, thanks.
The trans-white is my fav by far.
It's so much lighter than any other
Ray I've had and the finished neck
is also a bit chunkier . . . beautiful
birdseye neck and very dark rw board.

I had to have a trans-white.
I bugged Gav for his for a while and
he later notified me when he found
the '92 on ebay earlier this year. Near
mint for a 13 yr old bass!! Here are
some better pics:

awesome...some many of those early 90's basses had awesome birdseye. My '91 has INCREDIBLE birdseye. I'm convinced that the early 90's EB Ray's were the best Rays ever. You get the wheel truss rod, great sounding PUP's, nice beefy bridge, and awesome stability in the necks. But...you can't get the Trans Gold color and I still want one of those...
