I don't suppose that any of you have been over to the Sound Control website these last few days ?
If you've got a few moments to spare might I recommend that you go and check out the deal they're doing on SUB1 guitars...

Even better prices than they were a couple of weeks ago. Quite tempted to pick one up and maybe swap out the pups.

Grab them guys, you will be glad you did. I'm pretty sure the single hum models are routed to take other pups, so you should be fine there.

@starsky: If you swap those pups and want to dump them off, let me know

I already have a SUB ... anyway it's tempting !
Do not hesitate ! The SUB are really great guitars.

If you need an excuse or a reason, you can say to your wife :
1) If your are Welsh, it's for celebrating the Grand Slam
2) If your are English, it's for celebrating the victory of Lewis Hamilton
3) If you are Irish, it's for Saint Patrick
4) If you are Scot, it's a psychological healing after the defeat against Italy ...

Just buy it, you will not regret it

At this price I am currently dying to buy one.

I don't have a sheckle to spare but at this price, I really don't want to miss out.

That's a proper San Luis Obispo (I think) made Music Man for the same money as an OLP:eek:

I really want either the Red or Blue single humbucker model with a trem. So industrial chic, so cool, so much guitar for the money.....:D

I would recommend the HH over the H given the choice between the two. The pups on the SUB1 guitars are actually really nice.

Yup, I had a pleasant surprise there (currently changing my pickguard).

The neck position in my single humbucker Sub1 is routed and finished under the pickguard for a neck pickup; to be added at a later date.

I know it doesn't exist until I take some snaps, so hopefully this weekend i'll photo the wee cute number :)

Incidentally, mine was sourced from Sound Control in Glasgow, love it.

I asked about both cinammon and white HH with trems and the stores shown having them didnt any more. seems all they had left was the single H ones and a few hardtail HH's. I know that the 2 Glasgow stores have pretty much shifted all the HH ones.

There's not a SUB1 that dont look good but there was just something about the white one when I saw it in person. It looked fantastic. If you can score a white one then do so.:)
