Autumn Red Rise (sparkle?)

Hey kids.

I have been checking out the forums for a while, and constantly find myself going back to checking out the one phonobucket link that GWDavis has in his signature. It links to a picture of an Autumn Red Rise Sparkle JP6.

Can anyone fill me in on this color? i.e. when it was available, was it available without sparkle, more pictures...

All I know about it is these two points:

1) Not available any longer, which sucks.
2) I am absolutely in love with it, and would probably give my left nut to get a LUKE in that finish.

I don't know the window of when it was available, but I can provide pics of the one known JP7 with matching headstock. I love the color - very original and one of my favorite guitars ever.

Jimmy, Autum Redrise was available when the sparkles where available 2001-2003'ish. The color was only available as a sparkle, to the best of my knowledge it's never been shot without the sparkles, interesting idea though. I have a feeling that it won't be as nice with out the sparkle, but you never know as my 5 year old says.

Thanx for the kind words, it's a great guitar and I know that Royal Music in NY has an Axis Sport in this color with a rosewood neck, though they still want a lot of $ for it.

Maybe someone from EBMM would know if they ever made a Luke in this color, I've never seen one, but I would imagine that they made a few in this color?

My official lobby for next year's limited edition color.

Holy hell guys. Those pics you both have are incredible. I almost feel foolish for jumping on the EBMM train so late in the game. I don't think I've ever seen a cooler color on a guitar, other than the DD Green.

I suggest we all band together and get this as the 2008 limited edition model. I canot even fathom how cool a LUKE in this color would look.

i agree! I feel stupid too, so many golden years have gone by with thes efantastic colours that not enough people bought!

I always thought this was a wicked finish.looks great on a guitar like the Pet with no PG covering up the dramatic effect
