yeah I know Hopefully the endorsement deal will still happen that way I can get another Sterling.

No I don't have the original MM Pickup, I got this bass directly from Nordstrand.

I have nothing against the stock one but I swear when you hear this its totally amazing. I have a ton of friends who own sterlings and love MM pickups and are just blown away by the nordstrand.

Anyway thats it

good luck with getting some funds Chaz. As for Nordstrand, a buddy of mine has an older SR5 with a Nord in it and it does sound great.
As ofr this thread...wow, two replies and a ton of sarcasm, not bad

Man I just do not get this whole aftermarket pickup thing, especially on Musicman basses. Btw, for the op, I would take out the word "upgrad" from your first post, because most everyone on this board will consider that pickup switch a downgrade, and I know that that sort of thing (referring to aftermarket pickups as an upgrade) is offensive to the EB people. Good luck with your sale.

my downgrade to an Aguilar pre onboard has been horific, it's given me the sound "I" was looking for as well as retaining the feel and craftsmanship of a Music Man and the inherent MM sound that is built in to every instrument......
ahhh, imagine if no one ever thought of doing anyhting different, I wonder if the Bongo would ever have even seen the light of day?

Hmmmm

I was thinking the same thing...only I was thinking about it spelled correctly. :p

If I didn't have a mystery bass and an Ampeg 8x10 on the way I'd be all over that cabinet.

UPGRADE UPGRADE UPGRADE I could care less if people find that offensive or disrespectful to EB, I never said I didn't like the stock I just think in my opinion this pickup sounds better so to me its an UPGRADE!!! yippy I said it again.

Um I was working on an Endorsement deal with EB I'm in a band that is getting pretty big and is on the verge of a record deal, the bass player before me was endorsed by EB so I thought I'd get in there too.

check out www.myspace.com/holfiller for live vids, and two new studio tracks we cut recently in LA with some Grammy winning producers.

I put up a pic of the bass and the neck however like I said before I'm gona hold off on selling it until my D-Huff bass is finished.

The Cab and Head is still up for sale

I was actually referring to the owner of the company, not the formites. Search for a thread referring to the Seymour Duncan pickup ad for more. Btw, you should care what the people here think if you are asking them to buy your used equipment; they are, afterall, your customers, no?

True I due care what some of the people say but not when they turn a post about selling gear into a rant about how they disagree with what pickup is better, thats just pointless go start another thread about that, this one is about selling my stuff thats it.

From what I can tell, you are not even selling an EB bass now, just other non-EB equipment. That has got to be against the forum rules. Jack?

Yes it is....Sorry, but we don't want this forum turning into ebay.

The forum can be used by contibuting members to sell EB/MM gear. NOTHING else. It has started to get out of hand here, and now I am forced to moderate.
