Hey All,
MusicMan's "Build an Instrument" doesn't appear to have any bridge options for the standard Axis. Does that mean no stop tail piece for the regular Axis? If there is, how does the sound of it compare to it's Floyd Rose counterpart? I'm still debating if I want a Floyd or not... if there is a difference in sound I may want to stick with what I know (the Floyd)...

Unfortunately, there is no option of a hardtail on a regular axis, otherwise I'd own a few. One knob/three way switch with hardtail would be the bomb.

They have made some here and there, but I'm pretty sure you can't order one that way.

There were hardtail Axes made for awhile prior to the introduction of the Super Sport, but not any more. They do pop up in the used market once in a while (but you have to outbid Tim O'Sullivan for them - he's got three or so)

The Super Sport hasd the same pick ups but more options with the 5-way and a tone control and either a hardtail or vintage trem.
