Axis & Dunlop Straploks

I realize that the EBMM straplocks are going to be released soon, however I am partial to Dunlop straploks and my other guitars have Dunlops installed so it makes sense for me to stick with them.

I can't seem to decide whether I like the look of the black or the chrome/nickel ones better on the Axis.

Any Axis owners with Dunlops installed can you please post pics of how yours looks with either the black or the chrome/nickel ones? Thanks!

I'd go with the chrome. I had some black ones on mine, and was planning on getting some chrome ones because I preferred the chrome buttons that originally came on the Axis. Of course, they didn't stay on long. The second time the Dunlops let go and my brand new Axis almost hit the floor, I took them off. I guess you've had good experiences with them, but based on my own experience, I wouldn't recommend them.

I think that there could very well be a lot of second hand strap locks for sale, after the EB ones are released!!

Get the chrome - they look the best!

Depending on stage lighting, sometimes the black ones are hard to see against the black of the Axis back, and the chrome ones are just that much easier to aim for when changing guitars (I use a wireless unit, and use one shoulder strap). Might be something to consider if you are in a similar situation....
