What effects processors have people found work best with their Axis (especially MM90s)? GT-8s, POD XTs, none at all, ...?

I usually play with a GT3 but most of the time my ASS MM90 is straight to the amp (Fender HotRod Delux) sometimes with V-TWin pedal when I need more crunch and a Rocktron Deep Blue chorus for the Piezo straight in the PA
I used to play with a lot of effects with my strat but since I'm using MM guitars I'm really using the minimum effects.
Being a huge Marillion fan I'm using a lot a clean patch with JC120 chorus delay that's all

I have a POD and a GT5 (Behind the times, but who can afford to keep up!!) both of which seem to work much as you'd expect with my ASS MM90 and my SS

I personally use a series of pedals as I don't particularly care for the all-in-one boxes. I like the new Eventide delay big time and the EVH phaser is a sure thing as well.
