Hey guys. I just got a pod hd500 and there's an option to set the input impedance for your specific guitar. If I'm using an axis, anyone have any idea what this should be set to?

Options are:

Auto
22k
32k
70k
90k
136k
230k
1M
3.5M

Thanks,
-Richie

1M will give you the most amp-like response with the Axis or any other guitar with passive pickups. As with most such things, the real answer is whatever sounds best to you.

Yeah, I'd set it to 1 meg as well.

The lower it is, the more you'll lose some high end from your pickups as they're loaded down. (Handy if you're using single coils with some gain, etc.)

Would be an interesting option to play with.
