Hello everyone.. I just recieved the Axis that I mentioned a little while ago. Hardtail, faded Amber finish w/matching headstock, Birdseye maple neck..
I am so #$!!ing Stoked!!! She plays really nice!
Cant believe how light she is..lighter then my SG I believe. Also quite a few tonal options for such a simple layout. Cuts very well.
As of yet I only have a PODXT Pro goin thru a 1200 watt Peavey PA. Sounds good but want to hear her through a Tube Amp set up.
I have a Mesa 20/20 amp-Recto Pre- 1x12 recto cab-1x12 widebody cab- Zinky 2x12- Nick Greer
15w Stinger Amp and Cab that has 1-1x12 and 1-1x10.
all on there way within thenext month or so.
Sorry to babble on..I have just started getting back into playing and am really excited about this guitar and the gear thats comin.
Anyways now I own two EB/MM guitars and I really enjoy them both. The other is a 2002 Axis sport HH with vintage Trem-rosewood neck. Both guitars are to me 2 of the best I have ever looked at, held and played(not the best examples of there kind but the EB/MM's are unreal). I even love the way they smell!
I will post some pics soon and I am sure I will have some questions as well.
Enjoy your EB/MM Guitars!
