I was setting the intonation on my Axis last night. I am tuned down to Eb. When setting the low E string, I noticed the 12th fret fretted note was a bit high compared to the open low E string. So proceeded to move the saddle away from the nut but there is no more adjustment available as the screw is right on the edge of the saddle. Has anyone else noticed this on their guitar? I am using the outermost hole in the saddle (hole nearest the nut)
Thanks in advance

I can't help much with the Axis, but one suggestion would be to double check your string height (saddle height adjustment). A 64th one way or the other can definitely affect intonation.

Hi Vito , thanks for the response, but apparently the only way to adjust the string height is via shims in the neck on an Axis non-floating trem
