Axis Luke Model?

I saw this Axis Luke model here http://www.stevelukather.net/Picture.aspx?id=97 Was this ever made for the public? I would buy one if it came with the same neck as my Luke II.

That's an Axis Sport body with what looks to be a Luke I neck - not a production instrument by any means - pro'ly somethin' Dudley threw together for Steve on request...

But also notice it has 3 single coils.
If I remember correctly, the Axis was being developed to some extent for either Luke or Al before EVH came along!?!? Somebody correct me. I know there's something about this. I'm tired and the nogin is fading fast.....

that was a proto we were playin around with it had a slo neck and luke liked it so we put his neck on it It is really a great tele style guitar.....Luke do you still have this...stories?

Oh man BP you´re the best sharing all this stuff and stories with us.
I´m so sad I can´t make it to the open house due to some gigs I have to play.
