Hello All,

Love the axis neck and nothing on the market that I know of comes close to the way that model's neck feels (at least for me anyways). Also have a Musicman EVH and they're almost identical. I was looking for a neck that I can buy that's close to the feel of the axis neck. I have some bodies lying around that I would love to outfit a similar ernie ball neck 'style'. Has anyoone ever bought a neck from the popular 'parts' dealers out there or had a neck made by a smaller guitar manufacturer that comes even close. Don't really care about the headstock style. Please let me know of anything remotely close. I'm aware of the olp's but there a different feel altogether. Have also bought a few necks from Mean street guitars but they're not close either. Thanks in advance.

Warmoth makes a neck modeled after the axis I believe, it might be the wolfgang and I think you can order it without a finish as well, like the others mentioned it wont be the same but it might be cool to fit to an old strat body or something -

I've tried the Warmoth EVH shape and with the right finish it gets very close to the original - the best you can get shy of the real deal IMHO. In related news: the Cort Neal Zaza signature sports a neck shape which is a blatant rip off of the Axis... only with 24 frets.

Cheers
